Austin has long been known for their thriving art community. What better way to show local businesses and the ones you love what a great city we live in than holiday gifts by local vendors?

There’s no shortage of holiday markets to check off everyone on your naughty and nice list.

Now through December 24th

Blue Genie Art Bazaar is an Austin tradition, filled with local vendors. You can shop in-store or online (pick-up or shipping is available). Plus they have a scavenger hunt to keep kids entertained while you shop.

November 30th

Makers Market at the Violet Crown is an austinfeelgoodmarket event. You can expect 16+ vendors selling handmade crafts, delicious treats, or one-of-a-kind gifts. Plus, enjoy coffee or wine from Violet Crown while you shop.

Shop small at Golden Hour’s Small Business Saturday Market from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. This market will feature a wide range of vendors from jewelry to stow-away tiny tables to skincare.

December 1st

Busty’s Bar will be hosting a Holiday Market starting at 11 a.m. Indulge in seasonal cocktails as you shop vintage vendors, vinyls, and a bake sale that benefits their favorite bakers sick pup.

December 3rd

Umlauf Sculpture’s Holiday Market seems like the place you could find that unique gift for the impossible person to shop for. They’ll have up to 26 vendors to help you find the perfect piece. But even if you don’t find that perfect gift, Garbo’s will be there with food and beverages, you can walk the gardens in the evening, and they’ll even have a harp player.

December 5th

Collected by Blackbirds is hosting their First Annual Holiday Soiree: Sip and Shop Donation Drive. Not only will they have an incredible collection of vintage Christmas sweaters and holiday party wear for you, they’ll also be collecting donations for SAFE Alliance. Bring a gift on the SAFE Alliance wish list and receive 5% off your purchase.

Kaiju Cut + Sew is organizing Meanwhile Brewing’s happy hour Holiday Market this year. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., they’ll have a variety of vendors including jewelry, ceramics, and handcrafted leather goods. Once your shopping is done, head to the stage for free photos with Santa Claus!

December 6th through 21st (weekends only)
