Our neighbors across Central Texas are facing unimaginable loss and devastation in the wake of the recent floods. Homes, businesses, and entire communities have been upended—and now, more than ever, they need our support. From basic necessities like bottled water, bleach, and diapers to critical items like tools and medical supplies, there’s an urgent call for donations. Whether you’re able to drop off supplies at a local business, purchase a gift card for essentials, or support restaurants and shops donating profits, every bit helps. Below is a list of what’s needed most, where to give, and the generous Austin-area businesses stepping up to help. Let’s show up for each other like Texans do.

Kristy Owen
In her previous life, Kristy was an uninspired realtor who was feeling a little bit bored with her day to day. So on January 1, 2010, she made a New Year’s resolution to write about one thing to do each day in her beloved city of Austin, Texas. And thus, 365 Things Austin was born.
