Long observed in Mexico to honor departed loved ones, Día de los Muertos is now embraced globally and right here in Austin. Waterloo Greenway will transform the Moody Amphitheater stage at Waterloo Park into a beautiful “ofrenda,” or altar, inviting the community to contribute their own photos, mementos, and traditions. This two-day event will feature inspiring music and dance performances, an artisan marketplace filled with local creatives, and family-friendly hands-on activities including crafts and face-painting.
