Mahjong Monday: Open Play at Lazarus Brewing (Airport)
Join Mahjong with Molly on Monday, November 3 at Lazarus Brewing Co. (Airport “Casita” location) for an evening of tiles, brews, and community! Whether you’re brand new to Mahjong or already obsessed, this open-play event is designed to be fun, social, and easy to join in.
Doors open at 4:40 PM so you can grab a drink, settle in, and meet your tablemates. From 5:00–6:00 PM, Molly will lead a light, hands-on Mahjong Basics session—a friendly crash course covering how the tiles work, the rhythm of play, and how to build a winning hand. Total beginners are welcome, and even experienced players will pick up some helpful refreshers.
From 6:00–8:00 PM, the night opens up for social play, where you’ll mix, mingle, and play a few rounds at your own pace. Molly will circulate to answer questions, clarify rules, and help keep the games flowing so everyone can enjoy the evening.
We’ll also be collaborating with a representative from Olive Tree People, the innovative waterless skincare company, who will be sharing a mini activation and samples throughout the evening. It’s a perfect pairing of play and self-care — discover their beautifully clean skincare products between hands while enjoying the relaxed, cozy vibe of Lazarus.
Tickets are $30 per seat and include your reserved spot, guided learning hour, and open play session. Plus, we’ll be playing during Happy Hour, so you can sip one of Lazarus’s locally brewed beers or enjoy snacks while you play.
