DESCRIPTION:A Free Day of Thrilling Family-Fun at the Museum! \nGrab your costume\, don your superhero PJs\, or just come as you are\, and visit the Neill-Cochran House Museum the Sunday afternoon before Halloween. This event is free! \nYoung guests can enjoy a bouncy castle\, Trunk-or-Treat**\, scavenger hunts\, games and more! Make friendship bracelets with Museum staff and volunteers. Then create paper flowers to add to your ofrenda in honor of Día de los Muertos. \nSunday\, October 26\, between 11 AM and 3 PM\, access to the lawn is free and open to the public. Drop in anytime to join the fun. The Neill-Cochran House Museum will be open for self-guided tours and kids can explore Austin history with one of our engaging seek-and-finds. Free parking is available behind the Museum. \nOur Halloween Carnival is hosted in conjunction with The Vine. We look forward to seeing you there! \n**Trunk-or-Treat will take place next door at The Vine (The Mansion) and will run from 11:00am – 12:30pm. The Museum will offer museum-safe treats as prizes until 3:00pm or until we run out! \n

SUMMARY:Flatwater Fest
DESCRIPTION:Flatwater\, an Austin-based nonprofit providing free mental health therapy to individuals and families affected by cancer\, will host its first-ever Flatwater Fest on Sunday\, Oct. 26\, at Radio/East. The family-friendly community festival will feature live music\, local vendors\, food trucks\, a silent auction\, and a free Kid Zone. All proceeds will directly fund therapy services for those navigating cancer\, extending Flatwater’s mission beyond its signature “Dam That Cancer” paddle event. Organizers hope to make Flatwater Fest an annual Austin tradition that brings people together in support of mental health\, connection\, and community.
